First aid, eyewash stations and medical supplies are used to treat injuries and prevent infection. These products include eyewash stations, ointments and wound dressings. Eyewash stations flush hazardous substances out of a worker's eyes. They are easily activated and able to deliver approximately half a gallon of flushing fluid per minute. Flushing fluid includes drinkable water and saline solution. Ointments and creams disinfect wounds and prevent infection. Wound dressings are applied over the ointment or cream to protect the wound, provide a barrier against contaminants and promote healing. They typically are made of sterile cotton.
