3M(TM) Speedglas(TM) FlexView Helmet with SideWindows and Auto-Darkening Filter 9002X, 04-0016-21SW 1/Case
The FlexView System spring holds the auto-darkening filter assembly securely on top of the helmet, giving the welder a big, clear view behind the faceshield. The clear faceshield allows for precision grinding and cleaning, the careful alignment of electrodes and the inspection of newly-completed weldsall with eye and face protection. Important Note: impact resistant, primary eye protection, spectacles or goggles that meet current ANSI specifications, must be worn at all times when using any welding helmet. 3M(TM) Speedglas(TM) Helmet 9000 has four aerodynamically-designed exhaust vents to help reduce "stuffiness." 3M(TM) Speedglas(TM) SideWindows allow welders to see potentially hazardous peripheral objects with the helmet down. Filter 9002X has user-selectable shades (9, 10, 11, 12 and 13), sensitivity and delay settings. 9002X handles a wide range of arc welding methods, including extremely stable arcs like those from TIG inverters at low amp settings. It has an extra large viewing area 4.09 in x 2.13 in (104 mm x 54 mm).
