3M(TM) Speedglas(TM) FlexView Helmet with ProTop System and Auto-Darkening Filter 9002V, 04-1516-31 1/Case
FlexView System`s spring holds the auto-darkening filter assembly securely on top of the helmet, giving the welder a big, clear view behind the faceshield. Clear faceshield allows for precision grinding and cleaning, careful alignment of electrodes and inspection of newly-completed weldsall with eye and face protection. Important Note: impact resistant, primary eye protection, spectacles or goggles that meet current ANSI specifications, must be worn at all times when using any welding helmet. 3M(TM) Speedglas(TM) Helmet 9000 has four aerodynamically-designed exhaust vents to help reduce "stuffiness." ProTop System`s pivot mechanism has two sets of axes: one to lift the welding helmet away from the welders face, and another axis to nest the welding helmet down low over the hard hat, in a balanced, secure position. Low center-of-gravity helps to reduce neck strain and make it easier to move around. Filter 9002V handles a variety of arc welding processes and amperages, including extremely stable, low-amp TIG arcs.
