Activators, Primers & Etchants

Adhesive activators are primarily used to speed up cure times and are suitable for use on a range of substrates like wood, metal, and composites. Adhesive primers seal porous surfaces to improve adhesion and are commonly painted or sprayed on to surfaces. Some adhesive activators act as both primer and activator. Adhesive etchants remove contaminants and coatings from surfaces using chemical erosion to create a uniform, dull substrate for effective adhesion.
