Electrical Plug & Switch Lockout Devices

Electrical plug and switch lockout devices keep electrical equipment powered down while workers perform a job. Plug lockouts are hollow devices that cover the head of a power cord. They have a small opening at one end to accommodate the cord. Plug lockouts are secured with a padlock and are made out of thermoplastic. Switch lockout devices are used on electrical switches to keep them in an on or off position. They use existing screws to install over wall switches.
