Quick Change Discs
R.S. Hughes carries Quick change sanding discs that are used for deburring, blending, and finishing. Quick change attachments allow discs to be switched easily while providing a more stable grip than hook and loop or PSA attachments. This allows for increased RPM and reduced finishing time. Choose from attachment type I (also known as Type P or TP), II (Type TS or S), or III (TR or R). Discs can have a cloth, paper, or fiberglass backing. They may be solid or contain vacuum holes for dust removal. Common abrasive materials include aluminum oxide, ceramic, silicon carbide and diamond. Choose from coarse to very fine grade, or corresponding grit, depending on material being worked and level of precision required.
