Release Agents
Release agents are used to prevent materials and surfaces from bonding to each other. Barrier release agents create a physical barrier between two materials that prevents adhesion by means of a chemical reaction. Release agents are commonly used when one material is shaping another but their contact is temporary, such as in mold or die-casting operations.
