Sanding Stars

Sanding stars are used with hand rotary tools for light deburring, blending, cleaning, and polishing. They are designed for working very contoured and difficult-to-sand areas and for polishing the interior walls of pipes and tubes. They can be spindle mounted or have a straight or threaded arbor attachment. Aluminum oxide is the most common abrasive for sanding stars. Choose from coarse to very fine grade, or corresponding grit, depending on material being worked and level of precision required.
