Screw Machine Length Drill Bits

Machine length drill bits have the lowest length to diameter ratio. These are also known as screw-machine-length drill bits (S/M Drill Bits). Their shorter length compared to a jobber bit results in a more rigid drill bit, reducing deflection and breakage.
