Spill containment and leak prevention equipment hold fluids, such as oil, to either prevent leaks and spills or contain them. They include spill containment booms, spill containment drums and trays and drip pans. Spill containment booms prevent the spread of spills, leaks and debris. They are arranged around a site to contain harmful fluids such as oil. Spill containment drums house other containers to provide a second barrier against spills and leaks during storage and transportation. They are also called overpacks. Trays and drip pans hold leaking fluid, prevent floor stains and shorten cleanup. They resist chemicals, oil and water.
