Acrylic Adhesives
R.S. Hughes is proud to offer an array of strong acrylic adhesives. Acrylic adhesives are strong, resin-based adhesives that form bonds quickly. Available in both single- and two-part systems, acrylic adhesives are suitable for bonding dissimilar materials such as metal to plastic. Acrylic adhesives are typically resistant to water and alkali cleaners, with some products resistant to oil, gasoline, and mold. For two-part acrylic adhesives that do not require mixing, the base component is applied to one surface and the accelerator to the other. The curing process beings when the materials make contact.
