Hand Pads

Hand pads are used for general hand applications such as sanding, deburring, surface preparation, cleaning, finishing, and polishing on wood, metal, painted surfaces, and plastic. They can also be used with portable sanders. Pads can be flexible to conform to irregular work surfaces, or can be used with a hand pad holder for increased stability and leverage. Hand pads abrasives can be single or double sided, with some double-sided pads having different grits on the front and back. Common abrasive materials include aluminum oxide, aluminum silicate, diamond, and silicon carbide. Choose from coarse to ultrafine abrasive grade, or corresponding grit, depending on level of precision desired.
