VHB Tapes
VHB tapes are incredibly strong tapes used to replace rivets, spot welds and other permanent fasteners. They are double-sided, pressure-sensitive tapes that resist moisture, solvents and plasticizers. VHB tapes are made from acrylic foam, which absorbs energy and evenly distributes stress across the tape. This allows for long-term holding and strong bonding to high- and medium/low-energy surfaces. VHB tapes are even stronger below 50 degrees Fahrenheit; however, the tape must be applied to clean, dry surfaces at a temperature between 70 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
