Temperature Modules

Temperature modules allow for consistent, accurate adhesive temperatures during the dispensing process. When inserted into the handle, temperature modules regulate the temperature of the adhesive. If an application requires a different temperature, a replacement module is installed to achieve the correct state.

Hot melt applicators with variable temperature control may come with preset module kits. Preset temperature modules are available in a variety of common levels. Temperature modules with 264 degrees Fahrenheit sensors are ideal for low-melt applications. Many hot melt adhesives work well with modules ranging from 302 to 392 degrees Fahrenheit. Higher temperature modules are available for other adhesives, including polyamide.

Temperature modules are not to be confused with temperature monitors, which indicate item temperature throughout the supply chain. Time-temperature indicators monitor exposure during a designated time period, ranging anywhere between 48 hours and 2 weeks.
