Ionizers, ion test meters and ion test kits monitor and control ESD (electrostatic discharge) in electronic devices. Ion test meters and kits measure surface voltage and polarity of nearby objects, while ionizers manage ESD buildup. Overhead ionizers install above the workspace to control ESD over a large area. Benchtop ionizers are smaller units used on standard workbenches and run with an external DC or AC power source. Ionizing guns are handheld devices that neutralize static charges. They are available with close-proximity and air-blasting designs.
