Body Belt & Harness Straps
Body belt and harness straps position workers, offer support and protect workers in a fall. Body belts are used in full body harnesses for travel restraint and positioning. They are not part of the harness that provides fall support. Harness straps are connected to an anchor point to safely catch workers and prevent injuries from a fall. Safety harness straps are typically made of strong, durable nylon. Some have red inner cores that become exposed over time. A red core indicates the strap must be replaced.
