Buffing Wheels
Buffing wheels are used together with an abrasive buffing compound to create a uniform surface on a workpiece. Buffing consists of two stages: cutting and coloring. The cutting step involves moving the workpiece against the rotation of the buffing wheel to create a semi-bright finish. For the color step the workpiece is moved with the rotation of the wheel to create the final clean, shiny surface.
