Die-Cut Thermal Transfer Printer Cartridges
Die-cut thermal transfer printer cartridges and continuous thermal transfer printer label cartridges are both used in Brady brand thermal transfer printers. Die-cut labels are precut and presized, while continuous labels allow for custom length adjustment. Cartridges contain a vinyl or polyester ribbon with three separate layers: a base material, heat-melting ink and a coating. The base material and coating layers prevent the ink layer from sticking to a thermal transfer printer's printhead. They also increase the printed label's resistance to light and abrasion.
