ESD grounding shoe accessories and disposable footwear are designed to dissipate electrostatic buildup from one of its most common sources, the movement of feet against the ground. Shoe accessories include disposable and reusable straps to fit on heels or other parts of the shoe. They may have an adhesive back or hook-and-loop strap to affix to shoes. Some have weblike designs that fit around the soles of shoes, toes, or heels.
