Heat-Resistant & Welding Gloves
Welding and heat-resistant gloves protect workers from extreme heat, sparks and some molten splash. Many heat-resistant gloves are aluminized for additional protection against radiant heat. They are typically made of Zetex, fiberglass or Kevlar. These materials can withstand temperatures of over 500 degrees Fahrenheit and short-duration temperatures of 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Welding and heat-resistant gloves have good grip and flexibility and resist abrasion, cuts and wear.
