Mixing & Spreading Tools
Mixing and spreading tools prepare and apply adhesives. Depending on the viscosity of the adhesive, different mixing paddles are used. High-viscosity mixing paddles connect to drills for high-speed, powerful mixing and feature blades that efficiently churn through the adhesive. If a thicker mixture is desired, a mixing paddle with more blades is used to offset the material more easily. Low-viscosity mixing paddles have fewer blades because they require less strength to mix the adhesive. The simple design of low-viscosity mixing paddles mimics a stirring motion.
Adhesive spreading tools are available for a wide range of applications, including heavy-duty industrial work, commercial tiling, and handheld crafts. Adhesive spreading machines often include automated tools to regulate and apply adhesives from rolls ranging between 6 and 12 inches.
