PAPR (powered air purifying respirator) and SAR (supplied air respirator) air filtration panels purify the air that gets delivered to a PAPR or SAR. They remove compressed contaminants from the air and regulate air pressure. The PAPR or SAR then transfers the clean air through a breathing tube to headgear worn by a worker. Air filtration panels can be portable or wall-mounted. Some models also remove carbon monoxide from the air source.
