PAPR & SAR Assemblies
PAPR (powered air purifying respirator) and SAR (supplied air respirator) assemblies provide clean air to workers. Assemblies include a PAPR or SAR system, headgear, belts, batteries, breathing tubes and filters or cartridges. PAPR and SAR assemblies can purify air or supply air from an external source. They pump air through a breathing tube into the assembly's headgear, which consists of a hood that has a clear face shield. Workers with PAPR or SAR assemblies can work in environments where hazardous fumes, gases and vapors are present.
