Pipe banding tapes and directional flow arrow tapes are used to color-code pipes and indicate contents and flow direction. They are made of a vinyl or polyester backing that resists moisture and contaminants with a strong adhesive material that ensures a strong bond. Some tapes are made of reflective vinyl to help workers identify pipes in dim light.
