Pre-treatments and post-treatments prepare surfaces before applying coatings and protect them after coating application. Pretreatments change the chemistry of substrates to prepare them for coatings or paint. They remove oil, oxidation, zinc phosphates, sealants, and compounds to prepare substrates for effective adhesion and coverage of coatings. Posttreatments enhance corrosion resistance and paint and coating adhesion.
