Solder Fume Extractor Filters
Solder fume extractor filters are designed to capture contaminants and particles and clean toxic gas from fumes in the airflow. Filters are generally designed with multiple layers to capture the greatest percentage of contaminants in the stream. An initial dust filter removes larger particles and a micro filter removes the smallest particles. A gas filter cleans the remainder of toxic gases from the airflow, often by means of an activated carbon with a chemical absorbent.
