Spill Containment Booms

Spill containment booms prevent the spread of spills, leaks and debris. Sorbent booms are manufactured in a variety of configurations for different applications. Mini-booms are tube-shaped products that absorb specific chemicals and repel others. A fully labeled scrim provides a clear description of the boom and houses the specific sorbent. A hydrophobic design is ideal for containing only hydrocarbon-based liquids. An operator can arrange the mini-booms around the site of the spill to contain the harmful fluids. Larger floating containment booms are stronger to prevent the spread of solid debris.
