Anti-slip tapes are non-skid adhesive tapes that add traction to floors, steps, ladders, and surfaces exposed to water. They have an abrasive side, commonly made from aluminum oxide, and an adhesive side. The adhesive side is bonded to plastic film in high-traffic applications or to conformable (easy to shape) aluminum foil. Coarse anti-slip tapes are used on outdoor equipment like trucks and tractors that are exposed to rain and mud. General-purpose anti-slip tapes are used for foot traffic on ramps, stairs, emergency exits, and slippery surfaces. Anti-slip tapes have strong adhesives that bond to wood, concrete, metal, tile, and other common floor surfaces.
