Bonding, Mounting & Transfer Tapes
Bonding, mounting, and transfer tapes are double-sided tapes used to bond two surfaces or objects. They provide a more appealing finish than surfaces that have exposed screws, staples, or rivets. These tapes also distribute stress evenly, making them a good choice for high-strength applications. They are available in a variety of strengths for different uses including home craft projects and mounting heavy objects in industrial and commercial applications. Bonding, mounting, and transfer tapes are easy to use and install on a wide variety of materials. Permanent tapes can be used on paper, painted surfaces, wallpaper, and unfinished wood. Removable tapes are not recommended on these surfaces, however, because they strip away material. Bonding, mounting, and transfer tapes are also available in weather-resistant forms for outdoor use on brick, stucco, and wood.
