Cable Grounding Kits

Cable grounding kits protect aluminum and copper cables from lightning damage and ground and reseal the jackets of buried distribution cables. Kits used to protect metal coaxial cables contain rippled clamps that divert voltage and ground the cables. These kits can include rubber casings to further shield the clamps and cables. Other cable grounding kits ground and reseal underground distribution cables. These kits come with mastic tape, electrical tape, copper braids and constant force springs. The tapes reseal the cable jacket, while the braid and constant force spring ground the cable.
