Fire Safety Equipment
Fire safety equipment prevents the spread of fire, reduces smoke and fumes, identifies flammable materials and relieves heat stress. It includes fire barrier duct doors, fire wraps and fire hazard labels. Fire barrier duct doors and fire wraps prevent the spread of fire. Fire barrier duct doors expand in very high temperatures to seal off air and grease and chemical fume ducts. Fire wraps are installed on cable and pipe to reduce smoke and prevent the spread of toxic fumes. Fire hazard labels are placed on cabinets, packages, paperwork and equipment to identify flammable materials or hazards. Labels use text, pictograms or a combination of both to warn workers.
