Standard Box Sealing Tapes
Standard box sealing tapes are pressure-sensitive and used to seal, reinforce and protect packages in shipping applications. For sealing corrugated boxes, standard box sealing tapes are the most common form of packaging tapes used in the world. These tapes come in colors outside the standard clear: tan, red, blue, black and brown among others. Standard box sealing tapes come in a variety of widths and lengths. 48mm wide (commonly called 2") tape with lengths of 50 or 100 meters are used in hand sealing of boxes with the aid of a manual tape dispenser. Longer rolls, such as those greater than 400 meters, are typically used with case sealing machines.
